Amorous Sunrise (Symbi-Haiku)

A new day awaits

as Slumbrous beauty awakes;

Dawn breaks the tide of dark night.

Amorous sunrise–

stomach filled with butterflies;

a morning lovers’ delight

    Oh my gosh this perfection!! I love how you made the Symbi your own!! You inspire me all the time Lori. You are an amazing poet. And get ready for NaPoWriMo in April. 30 days 30 poems. I’m contemplating writing a different form every day…possibly in alphabetical order. Would you like to join for just a couple of days or the entire month?

    1. I wish I had time to do that! But this next month is a killer at work for me and my task is….survival! I will try and do a few that you come up with on your site if I get an idea. You are so….prolific!

        I have to write to get all the busy-ness. Ou of my mind. I’m going to posting my list of April Poetry forms as a page sometime this weekend. You might see a couple that look interesting to try 🙂
