Devastation (Cinquain)

Shell shock

Dawning horror

Crushing swift agony

Expletives release hard grief

Harsh reality dawns

Torrents of tears

Sorrow

In an earlier poem HERE I discussed a huge fight after finding a 300 year old priceless item stolen from my safe.  This poem describes my feelings as the devastation settled into my mind.

Cinquain: A Cinquain is written using a pattern. This type of poem only has five lines. Each line follows a specific pattern.  I did a mirror Cinquain in this poem.  The primary poem has Line 1: 2 syllables Line 2: 4 syllables Line 3: 6 syllables Line 4: 8 syllables Line 5: 2 syllables
